Areas of severe distress, particularly where the existing finish
was peeling or worn, were addressed individually and a new coat
of Vivid Finish™ was applied.

potential, but were well worn and severely distressed. The

that included a combination chemical and mechanical deep
cleaning in conjunction with a dust free light surface sanding
to remove additional blemishes and imperfections that provided

These
floors were hidden beneath carpet for nearly 30 years. Vivid
Finish™ technicians removed the carpet, tack boards and staples.

ceramic tiles to match the adjacent breakfast area. Scuffs and

were complete, the floor was stained Neutral and multiple coats
of Vivid Finish™ XL in a custom blended Hi-Luster Satin were
applied to enhance and protect the floors.

Having

To prevent future damage, the homeowner will use an appropriate protective pad under any furnishings, tables, chairs, planters, etc that come in contact with the floors.
Another way to help prevent damage and prolong the life of your floors is to dry mop frequently to remove grit and dirt that causes pre-mature wear and unnecessary damage.
